Michael moved to Bend in 2005 with his wife, Patti, and became an elder at Foundry in 2006. He focuses on discipling through teaching, mentoring, writing and music. Although raised in Southern California, he considers his real roots to be in Lake Tahoe, where his family settled as pioneers five generations ago. He has three adult children (all girls except two boys) and five grandchildren. You can find him mountain biking, walking with his wife and goldendoodle, Moki, composing and playing music, reading, and turning strangers into friends.
